Founded in 1954, Transitec is the oldest consulting company specialized in mobility in Switzerland.

Transitec is established in Lausanne and also in Bern for German-speaking Switzerland.

The company has extended its activities beyond the Swiss borders, with offices in:

• France in Lyon-Bron, Paris and Strasbourg ;
• Belgium in Namur ;
• Portugal in Lisbon ;
• Morroco in Rabat.

Today, the number of employees has reached 65 including more than 45 engineers (a dozen of whom have more than 10 years experience within our company).

One of our assets is having the ability to integrate the variety of contexts within which we work (in the above-mentioned countries, but also elsewhere, notably in francophone Africa).

Thanks to internal exchanges and communication, we are in a position to ensure the consistency and the suitability of our contributions, as well as the coherence of our recommendations.

Transitec is politically, financially and technically independent. Thus we can guarantee our clients that acting in their interest is our sole aim.

Training is an essential part of our identity.

Our engineers have all followed special training in the field of mobility, at university-level colleges such as the EPF Lausanne (Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne), the HEIG-VD (School of Business and Engineering Vaud), the INSA (National Institute of applied sciences in Lyon), the ENTPE (National College of State Public Works) or are in possession of a DESS (Diploma of specialized higher studies) in Urban Transport and regional transport of persons.

In addition, their experience is constantly broadened by exchange of knowledge between the engineers themselves and by their participation as participants or speakers at training courses, congresses, etc.

All fields necessary to the understanding of mobility are covered (planning, operating, implementation, layout).

Each Transitec engineer receives a general training and can then develop a specialization in one or other field.

From the planning to the implementation, our engineers are able to give their support to our clients.

The follow-up and the assessment of results achieved after some months running are also part of the services we offer.
